Down on Grandpa's farm...

when we are not on a soccer field or watching basketball (go aggies)
we are usually at the farm..
the kids love to be there and love to be able to pretty much do as they please.
 grooming cows..
Tyler has something in his mouth.. not too pleasant obviously..

I love that they love to help...and play. everyday
when Clint comes home from work they ask.."are we going
to the farm today Dad?" and if he says yes..off they go to the garage to change. if no.. they ask when..
so happy they enjoy it..

more on tender mercies...

I chose to put this pic up.. it is a little easier to look at for me than some of the other ones I took..but
I have always been very sad to say goodbye to a vehicle when we sell it or wreck it.. but seeing this one go the way of the junk yard (more than likely) I can only say... Thank You  for doing your job and keeping my children safe...

tender mercies...

I have had an eye opening experience the past day..one I hope to never have again...I got a phone call that my children had been in an accident.. thank goodness I did not know the extent or I would have been crazier than I already was.  I rushed to them and found that Heavenly Father had sent so many angels to protect my precious cargo I can't even explain my feelings when I saw the front end of my truck all smashed in and 2 ambulances 10 police cars and multiple firetrucks and then my children sitting crying on the side of the road..and finding out that it was a head on colision and my children walked away. I am so grateful for knowledgable emt's and  firefighters and police officers and doctors at the ER that took such good care of my children. I do not know other than angels.. how my kids walked from this.. looking now at the truck the engine should have been on their laps but inside the truck cab there is not much damage and as for airbags the drivers side did deploy and tyler  has no injuries at all from that. and kyleys was disabled..They are okay... banged, bruised, concussions. But they are alive and here for me to enjoy still.. I guess I needed this, to be a reminder of what is really important in life..I wish I did not require such a big hammer to help me understand..The truck is a total loss I am sure. but it is just stuff... I am sooooo  grateful for a protecting hand of a loving heavenly father. I may post pic of the truck but not now.. too fresh for viewing.. and with a heavy heart a police officer came to inform us last night that the lady who hit them did not survive.. so my prayers are with that family as well as with my own sweet children...

Thankful...

everyone around this time of year always posts I am so thankful for...so...my turn, my turn..

Honest lists people...

I am thankful for my supportive and hard working husband...kids...food(a bit too much sometimes)...my amazing friends, and family that are always supportive..I also so thankful for a mindful heavenly father who knows me and my struggles and knows that DC is also one of my favorite things...but he still blessed me and pours his tender mercies on me despite my shortcomings and my screw ups, and my love for DC...so in the thankful spirit...Thank you to all of you who have touched my life, for the good or bad. it is you who have made me who and what I am today..(good or bad). And to those who have and who are helping me raise my beautiful children..a thank you to you as well..I know that I could not do it alone...

my thankful list would be entirely to long to post here..indoor plumbing, my freezer and washer and dryer, dishwasher...so many things.. but thank you for indulging me my shortened list..now i can feel better about telling someone I am thankful for many blessings...

When I count my blessings...you are on the list...

Happy Holidays!! all of them...

important parts...

Where to start?

we have been busy with birthdays and soccer..but in the past few weeks.. this has been the best thing that we have been busy with.....the days leading to this.. not so much the best.. but it lets me know that we have much work to do and that this is an important start and satan is on the prowl doing what he can to discourage any and all good starts...and that if we do our part..no matter how hard or how much we are tried..with our Saviour and Heavenly Fathers help.. and some work of our own.. we can get through ANY thing! Tyler was able to baptize Keradyn
what an amazing thing to watch 2 of your boys go together into the waters of baptism and hopefully build a stronger bond together..
we did have to put Keradyns baptism off for a month to let Tyler turn 16..(yep, I am old) but watching them do this together.. and having Tyler be so confident...it was worth it. (makes me know for assurity that our Heavenly Father loves us all so much.)

wow WOW wow everyone is smiling and looking at the camera...

good day!! no PERFECT day..

love this picture for the way my 2 boys are looking at their good example they have for a big brother...soon this will be the mission picture..wow time flies...justs seemed like yesterday we baptized tyler...

Finally...

So many things have gone hay-wire.. but FINALLY we are back to "normal" !! (as normal as my house can be)
we have soccer 6 days a week, which means cereal for dinner most nights (or mcdonalds.. i'd rather starve) and FHE on the soccer field or in the car.
school for 5 days which means homework..(not too much yet..thank goodness)
my air conditioner works again... no more living in a hole...
my water heater is put back together and works again.. no more luke warm showers..
my house is clean by 10 and I can feel like I have accomplished something until the tornado hits again..(kids)
Laundry will somewhat slow down.. only 2 loads a day instead of 5 (happy mom!)
and finally we are on somewhat of an order balance now..
and acutally I am really enjoying it...

taking it for granted...

I really have been trying to be cautious lately.. taking advantage of sales and trying to teach the kids how to bargain shop... well I should have known it was too good to be true.. life seemed to be going all too well...

Ya know its hot in here... oh my heck the AC isn't working...I take so many things for granted...we had no AC in our last house.. and we lasted 7 years there.. no problem, so why does 3 days seem to be a lifetime here?
I have now decided that there are so many things in my life that I expect to work and to happen...I think it really may be time to step back and inspect my thinking and try to do better...and that is what it is all about right? trying to do better?

Cache Cup

Okay so I am probably getting the mom of the year award for this.....
my boys played cache valley cup and I did NOT take the camera to one game...it really just came down to the fact that it was one more thing to carry... I do have to say, I LOVE to watch my boys play soccer.
Tylers team did okay..they placed 3rd in the big boys division they are so fun to watch. His cats team is made up of a lot of the high school team...
Ansens team placed 2nd in his division.. he got his first trophy..so exciting! (Pics of that later)
LOVE SOCCER.. thank you boys for helping me be a bit on the ocd end of things making sure I am where I need to be on time and with bags, water bottles, gatorade, blankets, umbrellas and children in tow..and always cussing cuz I forget...the camera..
someday I will remember...
